Training
Thursday night turbo training continues at Colchester stadium. It’s a big hit with the kids as they get to meet their friends for a chat and squeeze in a good training session as well. Start time is 6.45pm and it costs £1 for Kids and £2 for Adults.
Also on the training front… our fortnightly Saturday Cross training at Hilly Fields. Starts at 9:30am on the top field and costs £3 per session or £5 for two riders. Parents are welcome to support and join in the fun. Please ensure you have a completed consent form with any medical details if you haven’t attended before. Our next training session is the 12th December. Please check our Facebook group for details nearer the date.
One for the track riders… Our Eastern Region Track School riders will be at the Lee Valley Velodrome on Sunday 13th December.

And finally in the way of training, Chelmer CC have offered us a chance to join their Road bike coaching on a Saturday morning. This takes place at Chelmer Valley Park and Ride every Saturday morning 9am for 8-11yrs and 10:30am for 12-16yrs. For details check out the Facebook page - Youth Cycle Coaching - Chelmsford.
Racing
Now onto the racing, the Cyclocross season is coming close to an end. The 6th December is the Regional Championships at Hogg Hill. Followed by the 5th and final round of the Club Championship on the 13th December at Ipswich (Stowmarket Stow Scramble). After this there are only 3 more rounds in our league… Round 16 on 20th December at Eccles, Round 17 on 3rd January at Snetterton and finally Round 18 on January 24th at Trinity Park.
Away from Cyclocross… The London Youth Track League continues at Lee Valley on the 3rd and 17th December.
